How to Enable or Disable AI Features
Learn how to turn AI on or off for your organization and what changes in Kanban Zone when AI is disabled.

AI features in Kanban Zone are controlled at the organization level. When AI is disabled, all agents stop responding for every member of the organization.

Who Can Change This Setting

Only organization administrators can enable or disable AI features.

How to Enable or Disable AI

  1. Click your avatar in the top right and select Organization Settings
  2. Under AI & Integrations, click AI
  3. On the General tab, click the toggle next to AI Enabled


When the toggle is on, the label reads: All AI agents are active for this organization.


When the toggle is off, all AI agents are disabled across all boards and cards in your organization.


When AI is disabled, members will see a disabled state for any AI features, with a message prompting an administrator to re-enable AI for the organization.

When to Use This Setting

You may want to disable AI if your organization is not ready to use AI features yet, or if you need to pause AI activity while reviewing your credit usage.


Disabling AI does not delete any AI-generated content already saved to your cards or boards. It only stops new AI actions from being taken.
